Podcasts: Scarlet and White 2×21 – “Playoff Skyline”
A big night in Cambridge, a sad night in Boston, playoff seedings, and that buzzer-beater by Rajon Rondo. Andrew Mason is a happy camper on today’s episode of Scarlet and White.
In a deeply partisan Boston bar, Mason took in the Lakers-Celtics game decked out in his LA attire to watch former-Celtic stun the city. It was fun, but not as fun as Max Wolpoff had watching the NBA trade deadline news swirl around the Lakers making a big splash.
Mason and Wolpoff were also right about something: the BU Women’s hockey team did end up making the championship round of the Beanpot like Mason said, and host team Harvard made it as their opponent like Wolpoff predicted.
BU Basketball is not what the preseason polls predicted, which are meaningless and not worth our time, but we take a look back at how the “experts” picked the Patriot League anyway. March will be here before we know it, after all.
