The Boston University Terriers Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams look to stay perfect in Patriot League play as they both take on Lehigh Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Women’s team will be playing in Bethlehem, Pa. while the Men will stay at home in the confines of Case Gym.

The Men opened league play in grand fashion, knocking off archrival Holy Cross, 61-55. Justin Alston (13-15-2 blocks) and Eric Fanning (14-10-5) each notched a double-double performance for the Terriers.

The Women pulled off a similar feat on the road against the Crusaders, winning the Turnpike Trophy clash 66-49. Sarah Hope led all scorers with 17 points for the Terriers while Sophie Beaudry added 13 points in just 31 minutes of action.

The Lehigh Men’s team comes into Case as the Patriot League regular-season favorites, boasting a 7-5 record capped off with impressive victories over Princeton and Mississippi State.

Mountain Hawks’ center Tim Kempton leads the way with 21.9 PPG and 10.5 RPG. The Lehigh big man is complimented by guard Kahron Ross, whose 5.9 APG leads the team. Ross chips in 11.5 PPG as well.

On the Women’s side, the Lady Hawks come into Monday looking to snap a a four-game slide and a streak of six losses in seven games.

Lehigh is led by freshman Gena Grundhoffer, who leads the team with 1.7 APG and 5.2 RPG. Most of the scoring comes from her 9.8 PPG and Quinci Mann’s 17.8 PPG. The Terrier defense, which has improved down low this season, will need to keep both Mann and Grundhoffer out of the paint.
