“Our program is proud to take on the responsibility of hosting Hockey East’s championship weekend,” BU head coach Brian Durocher said via press release. “I’m confident that our entire administration and staff will do a great job in making it a world-class event and we look forward to supporting the league and all its great teams.”
The tournament will be held at Walter Brown Arena as Hockey East celebrates its 15th anniversary of being a major hockey conference. BU last hosted the conference tournament in 2011, and the Terriers won four straight Hockey East titles between 2012 and 2015.
