BU Hosts Hartford
By: WTBU Sports
The Boston University men’s lacrosse team returns home to Nickerson Field this afternoon to face the Hartford Hawks of the America East conference. BU has won three straight games to start its season while Hartford is yet to take the field.
BU defeated High Point in North Carolina on Tuesday afternoon for its first road victory, and the last time the Terriers were home was last Friday when they defeated UMass Lowell.
Freshman James Burr leads the team in scoring with ten points, while goaltender Christian Carson-Bannister made 18 saves last week, the second most in his collegiate career.
BU will once again be without its two leading scorers from last season, Cal Dearth and Ryan Hillburn, as they deal with injuries. Secondary scorers have stepped up all season, and the Terriers will need more of the same Saturday afternoon against the Hawks.
Game time is set for 1 p.m.
