Quinnipiac tops this week’s poll following a three point weekend in ECAC play. The Bobcats are first in pairwise with no sign of dropping lower. They have the nation’s fourth best power play at 28.57% and the third best penalty kill at 90.65%. Defensively, Quinnipiac only allows an average of 1.75 goals per game. Sam Anas is also tied for third in the nation with 20 goals this season.

North Dakota remains second after an idle weekend in Grand Forks. The Fighting Hawks allow 1.66 goals per game. Cam Johnson is the nation’s top goaltender with a .948 SV% and a 1.313 GAA. Nick Schmaltz is tied for fourth in the nation with 24 assists this season.

St. Cloud State holds its third ranking for the week following a series split against Miami (OH). The Huskies are second in goals per game with 4.321 along with the nation’s second best power play at 30.28%. Offensively, Kalle Kossila is third nationally with 26 assists. Additionally, Patrick Russell is second in the NCAA with six game-winning goals.

STAT OF THE WEEK:

Niagara swept American Intenational this weekend on the road, picking up their first series sweep of the season, and their first series sweep on the road since November of 2012 at Army. Niagara was 23-10-5 in 2012-13, and are currently 5-20-3.
