Quinnipiac remains at number one for a fourth straight week, fueled by a pair of shutouts this weekend by stellar senior goalie Michael Garteig. Second in the country in both save percentage (.952) and goals against average (1.130), Garteig has leads the nation’s number one defense. In addition, forward Tim Clifton is third in the NCAA with three game-winning goals.

Providence continued its dominance this weekend with a sweep of Merrimack. Leading the Friars is defenseman Jake Walman, who has scored 11 times this season, six coming on the man-advantage. Walman has scored four game-winners this season as well. The Friars close out the first half of their season with a game against cross-town rival Brown on Thursday.

North Dakota returns to the top three this week after two wins over Denver. The newly-dubbed Fighting Hawks are led by Drake Caggiula, who is second in the nation with 13 goals and third with 25 points. In net, Cam Johnson is fifth in the country with a 1.527 GAA this season.

Stat of the Week: RPI played Harvard to a scoreless tie on Saturday. It was the first scoreless tie for RPI since 1927 and only the fourth in school history. For Harvard, it was the first time this happened since 2004, and also the fourth time in team history. The games marks the third 0-0 draw in the ECAC this season.
