BOSTON — Coming off a 4-0 shutout of Lafayette a week ago, the BU Women’s Soccer Team will look to stay unbeaten in conference play when they host Lehigh University on Saturday at Nickerson Field.

The Terriers recorded their fourth shutout of the season last Saturday at Lafayette. Christina Wakefield, Jenna Fisher, Erica Kosienski, and Alex Schlobohm all scored for BU. Fisher added two assists to lead the Terriers offensive attack. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Alyssa Parisi notched her fourth shutout in net.

The win boosted the Terriers record to 6-5-3 overall, and 4-0-1 in the Patriot League overall.

Lehigh University lost their last match at Princeton, 2-1. Lehigh sits at 6-5-3 and 1-2-2 in the Patriot League on the season but are only three points behind a second place tie.

Freshman Sabrina Mertz leads the Mountain Hawks with seven goals. Similar to Lehigh, BU has a freshman that leads the team in scoring. McKenna Doyle, a freshman from Manhattan Beach, California has four goals and three assists including two helpers last time out at Lafayette.

The Terriers lead the Patriot League standings with 13 points while Bucknell and Army are tied for second with 8. A win on Saturday will be huge for BU in terms of clinching the Patriot League Regular Season Title with only three games remaining on the schedule after Lehigh.

BU and Lehigh have only met twice, with BU winning the first match in 2013 and the two teams settling for a 1-1 draw a season ago.

Saturday marks the second to last home game for BU. The last being against Holy Cross on Tuesday. Saturday will also mark Senior Day where seven seniors will be honored before the game.

BU will look to extend their home conference win streak to 33 games. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and can be seen on the Patriot League Network.
