HAMILTON, New York — The last time the BU Women’s soccer team played Colgate was ten months ago when the Terriers knocked off the host Raiders 2-1 to win the 2014 Patriot League Tournament Championship.

On Wednesday, these two teams will meet again at the same venue. While one team is looking for revenge, the other is looking to continue its winning ways. However, both teams will be in search of gaining the upper hand in the Patriot League regular season title chase, a feat that Colgate won last year over BU.

The Terriers come into the match having not lost a match in almost a month. Meanwhile, Colgate enters the Patriot League showdown unbeaten in their first two conference matches after a rough non-league slate.

Both teams earned a draw in their previous matches. BU scored with two minutes left in regulation thanks to sophomore Erin Neville’s equalizer to tie American University 1-1; while the Raiders played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer that ended with a 0-0 draw against Lehigh.

The Terriers have never lost to Colgate, going 4-0-1 in their five matches all-time, including beating the Raiders in the last two postseason conference tournaments.

The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at Beyer-Small ’76 Field in Hamilton, New York and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.
