On-campus housing
If you have registered to stay on campus, the address is 10 Buick Street, Boston, MA.
Your suite will have free wifi, and linens, towels, soap, and shampoo, will be provided to you. Your suite will be cleaned before you arrival, and after your departure, however housekeeping services will not be provided throughout the duration of your stay. Smoking is not permitted in any area of the residence halls including the bedrooms. You may check-in at the lobby desk between 3:00 pm and midnight on the day of your arrival. If you should arrive between midnight and 6:00 am there will be a phone number posted at the desk which you may call for an attendant to come to check you in. On the day of your departure you must check-out of your suite by 11:00 am. Should you wish to attend any portion of the conference on the day of your departure, there will be a location at the conference venue in which you will be able to leave your luggage.
We will be offering an opportunity to pick up your registration materials in the lobby of 10 Buick Street, on Monday, May 30th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. However, it is possible we may be able to open up registration somewhat earlier than 4:00 pm if you would like to stop by and check. There will also be an opportunity to register on Tuesday morning, however if possible I suggest registering Monday evening in order to avoid the very large quantity of people who will be registering on Tuesday.
The Boston University dorm in which you will be staying is located a 15-20 minute walk away from the conference venue. There is the St. Paul St. T (trolley) stop located across the street, and you can make use of the free Boston University shuttle bus. The shuttle stops closest to your dorm are the Student Village 2/Nickerson Field, and the Amory St./College of Fine Arts stops. The BU shuttle schedule is posted here: http://www.bu.edu/thebus/schedules/#1. For a map of the shuttle’s route as well as a live view of where the shuttle bus is, visit: http://www.bu.edu/thebus/live-view/. Parking at Boston University can be complicated, if you are planning to drive to the conference let us know and we can provide you with the relevant information.
