Getting Started

MyBU Student is Boston University’s Student Information System (SIS). It facilitates operations for the entire student lifecycle, from admission to graduation.

Resources to support student, faculty, and staff activities are available through this website (review the Using the Resource Hub page for guidance on using this website). Staff and faculty across areas of responsibility can use the introductory materials below to learn about MyBU Student processes.

Appropriate access to MyBU Student does need to be granted. Departmental Security Administrators (DSA) can submit these requests – please refer to the Access & DSA page for an overview of resources.

The BU SIS team is continually working on stabilization and optimization projects. Please periodically check in on ongoing improvement efforts detailed on the SIS Updates page.
