Equivalency Groups

This information explains how to create Equivalency Groups for courses in MyBU Student. Equivalency Groups define courses that are to be treated as equivalent from other institutions. This allows for pre or co-requisite checking and repeat course checking.

Introduction

• Course equivalency groups link different course IDs to make the courses equivalent for requisite checking purposes.
• Equivalency Groups are different than using Offerings to indicate equivalencies since courses of the same offering have the same Course ID.
