Introduction

Dynamic Dating functionality provides more flexibility regarding the academic calendar, ‘dynamically’ calculating important deadlines such as late drop and withdrawal when the class length differs from a traditional term length. The system Sessions table in the Flowchart and Timeline section illustrates how Dynamic Session Rules relate to the Academic Calendar

Because Dynamic Dating functionality creates needed key dates that are flexible based on any class start/end dates, this functionality ultimately prevents the need for creating large numbers of sessions within a term.
