Manpreet Kaur Singh


Manpreet Kaur Singh is current MGP candidate where she is specializing in Environmental Policy. At Boston University, she is interested in studying how climate change is impacting human rights. Her research interests broadly include natural resource management, climate adapation, food security, and environmental governance. Prior to attending Boston University, she worked on research projects that included anaylzing the impact of pre-natal and post-partum biological and environmental exposures that contribute to the development of autism in children, investigating the impact of mental health on stress resilience in women, and how American media portrayed the Middle Eastern/North African population and region during the 1940s. She also worked with the International Rescue Committee where she advocated for refugee clients and survivors of conflict by assisting them with job search and financial assistance. She currently serves as a Program Coordinator for the Institute for Global Sustainability.
