Pamela Templer

Pamela Templer is a Boston University Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Biology. She is Director of the Boston University URBAN Graduate Program, an Associate at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum, a Fellow of the Ecological Society of America (ESA), and President-Elect for ESA. She has published widely on a range of topics, including the feedbacks between climate change, air pollution, and urbanization on the functioning and health of New England forest ecosystems. She pursues projects that integrate across environmental science and policy through a collaborative approach with governments, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
