Book: Stories from a Warming World
On May 13, 2026, MISI’s team of directors, students, and fellows gathered with friends and family to listen to stories at WBUR’s CitySpace.
The storytellers – MISI directors and fellows – shared moments of time in their lives that profoundly impacted them, shaping who they are today and why climate change matters in the work they do. This printed book is a collection of their stories.

Transforming Narratives of Gun Violence (TNGV)
TNGV is a collaborative initiative that reimagines how communities, institutions, and the media understand and communicate about gun violence in the U.S. This project centers the lived experiences of those most affected – survivors, families, neighborhood leaders, and frontline workers – and works across storytelling, research, and civic engagement to expose the structural roots of gun violence, including racial injustice, economic inequality, and disinvestment.
