McKayla Roberts

McKayla Roberts is a graduate student in Boston University’s Emerging Media Studies program at the College of Communication. Before coming to BU, McKayla spent three years in the nonprofit sector, serving at a foundation and a grassroots nonprofit organization, where she managed communications and community engagement. She holds a BA in English and History from the University of Virginia. Her work centers on the intersection of media, law, and advocacy for creative industries, and she plans to pursue a law degree.
