Date: TBD 2026
Location: Wheelock Theater (2 Silber Way, Room 130)
Join us for a conversation with Boston community organizations who will share their visions, needs, and priorities for research partnerships across Boston University. Interviewed by Eric Gordon, director of the Center for Media Innovation & Social Impact (MISI), Chaplain Clementina Chéry of the Louis D Brown Peace Institute and community activist Reverend Mariama White-Hammond of New Roots AME Church will discuss what meaningful collaboration looks like from a community perspective, including values, expectations, and protocols for engagement. This is an opportunity for the research community to hear directly from community stakeholders and peers about how they would like to shape and co-create partnerships that are respectful, reciprocal, and rooted in shared goals.
