Research on Organic Field-Effect Transistors (OFETs)
Field-effect transistors (FETs) are a vital component of computer-processing, wearable-textiles, and sensing technologies. While silicon-based FETs have great conductivity for n-type transistors, organic FETs (OFETs) offer a variety of benefits as p-type transistors. Using a various heterocycles, our group explores potentially promising organic semiconductors for inexpensive, flexible, and solution-processable OFET materials with a variety of processing and fabrication options.
