Congratulations Dr. David Wheeler!
In another virtual defense, David successfully defended his dissertation titled “The Evolution of Linear and Cruciformic Benzobisoxazole Organic Semiconductors Designed for Organic Light-Emitting Diode Application”. Utilizing experimental data and aided by computational calculations, he has designed small molecule BBOs with EL ranging from near UV and deep blue to orange. A combination of these compounds has led to initial prototypes of white OLEDs from the Jeffries-EL group!
