Stephanie Waslin, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Associate

Stephanie Waslin, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Boston University Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (Child CARD). She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a child and family concentration from the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. Stephanie completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests include cognitive-behavioral therapy and additional evidence-based practices for children and adolescents with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and mood disorders. Stephanie’s research has centered around two broad questions 1) how family related factors relate with child adjustment, with a focus on parental emotion socialization and parent-child attachment and 2) how childhood anxiety relates to social, emotional, and academic outcomes.
