Quinn Adams is a postdoctoral associate with the Oceans and Climate Lab at CU Boulder and the CU Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), building climate-based predictive models for vector-borne disease.
Quinn earned a PhD from the Department of Environmental Health at Boston University, where her work focused on health risks from climate change and extreme weather events. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a Public Health focus from the University of Colorado, Boulder and completed her Master’s degree in Climate and Health from the Boston University School of Public Health. Quinn is particularly interested in applying spatial and statistical methods to understand how climate change contributes to variation in the distribution of infectious diseases and how climate interventions play a role in reducing health risks. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors.
