Economic Modeler – Climate and Energy, E3 Modelling
Nicholas Pape is an economic modeler in climate and energy at E3 Modelling. Nicholas obtained a PhD in Earth and Environment from Boston University, where he specialized in energy and climate economics. His doctoral research focused on developing and applying analytical and computable general equilibrium (CGE) models to quantify the economic and environmental impacts of climate, development, and trade policies, including financing from multilateral development banks (MDBs) for renewable energy in emerging and developing economies, partial carbon pricing, international carbon pricing floors, the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and US tariffs. He holds an MA in Earth and Environment from Boston University and an SB in Mathematics from MIT, with minors in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences and Political Science. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted energy and environmental research, primarily using data analysis and computational modeling methods.
