Kate Bartlett is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Environment interested in using computer models to study climate systems. She received a Bachelor’s in Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. Her research at the University of Michigan focused on using satellite measurements to improve our understanding of the contribution of various biological and anthropogenic sources to atmospheric NO2. At Boston University, Kate is interested in modeling the way greenhouse gases interact in the atmosphere, and the implications to public health. In her free time, Kate enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants with friends, and spending time outdoors going for walks or kayaking.
