Jonathan’s research interests include evaluating the impacts, benefits, and tradeoffs of technology and policy choices in energy, transportation, agricultural practices, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. To assist in these evaluations, he develops tools that incorporate environmental risk assessment, life cycle assessment, and environmental economics with the goal of placing health, climate, environmental, and other outcomes into a framework to aid decision-making.
