Jiahang He is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University. He earned a master’s degree in the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2023 and a bachelor’s degree in the same department in 2022. Prior to his Ph.D. study, he focused on development and environmental economics, specifically CGE modeling of natural resource management/ policy and electricity adaptation in developing countries.

Jiahang is currently working as a research assistant under Dr. Ian Sue Wing to analyze and simulate the impact of natural disasters on the regional economy using CGE and econometric models.
