Emma Daily is a PhD candidate in the Templer lab studying relationships between urban trees and air pollution in Massachusetts. She is interested in the intersection of urban ecology and public health, as well as how ecological science can support policy and vice versa. She graduated from Macalester College in 2019 with a degree in Biology and spent four years as a lab manager at the University of Minnesota studying changing fungal ecology in prairie ecosystems. Outside of science she enjoys reading, writing, backpacking, and live music.
