Emma Daily is a first-year PhD student in the Templer lab, interested in the impacts of climate change on biogeochemical cycling in forest ecosystems. She graduated from Macalester College in 2019 with a degree in Biology, and has spent most of the past four years as a lab manager at the University of Minnesota, studying changing fungal ecology in prairie ecosystems. Emma has also worked in citizen science, with a community health collective, and at an arctic field station. Outside of science, she enjoys books, backpacking, and live music.
