PAN, a new system writing to your brain!

We are so excited that our photoacoustic nanotransducer paper is published in Matter, a sister journal with Cell. It is a new nanoparticle system that utilize the photoacoustic effect upon absorbing NIR-II light for neural modulation. Great collaboration with Dr. Cheng, Dr. Man and Dr. Jia group. Congrats, Ying and Yimin!

Congrats, Dr. Dutta!

Amartya successfully defended his Ph.D thesis with a recommendation from his committee for his thesis to be nominated for the best dissertation award in Department of ECE. Way to go, Dr. Dutta, our first Doctor degree from BU ECE department! We wish you best and an exciting start of a new chapter of your life […]

Congrats, Linli for publishing our first paper in the new direction!

Our first paper in the direction of developing photoacoustic devices for cell modulation is published in Photoacoustics! Congrats, Linli, for leading this new direction. It is an exciting interdisciplinary direction requiring expertise in material chemistry, physical chemistry, electrical engineering and biomedical engineering.
