Looking for postdoc in infrared photothermal imaging

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced post-doctoral candidate in infrared imaging and spectroscopy, mostly for biological imaging. Our research focuses on custom-designed optical instrumentation for label-free mid-infrared photothermal imaging and spectroscopy for molecular studies of cells and tissues.

The position will involve multimodal imaging with fluorescence microscopy and vibrational imaging, biophysical interpretation of spectral signatures, modeling of photothermal dynamics with potential applications for neuroscience, cancer biology, women’s health or other application areas.

Qualification: PhD, MD/PhD or doctoral equivalent in relevant discipline, including molecular imaging, spectroscopy, biochemistry, cell physics with experimental microscopy experience and optical system design
