On October 20 and 21, 2017, our 35 Pulitzer Center student fellows traveled to Washington, D.C., to present under-reported issues from 27 countries across the globe. Their stories covered some of today’s most challenging topics, from the lasting impact of the Zika virus on Brazilian families to the lack of mental health support for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
