Life After DOMA–A Practitioner Panel on the Implications of U.S. v. Windsor.

On Monday, Oct. 7th, OutLaw hosted several Boston area legal practitioners as they discussed the implications of the “Windsor” decision in their respective practices. Panelists included:

  • Jansen Wu, staff attorney at Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders, who works on a variety of litigation and legislative efforts around transgender rights throughout New England.
  • Richard Iandoli of Iandoli & Desai, P.C., a national immigration law practice limited exclusively to matters arising under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act.
  • Renat Lumpau, an associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP who specializes in tax and wealth management.

On Tuesday, Oct. 29th, OutLaw hosted Professor George Annas, who spoke on important topics related to HIV/AIDS law. Professor Annas is Edward R. Utley Professor and Chair for the Department of Health Law, Bioethics & Human Rights at Boston University School of Public Health, and Professor in the Boston University School of Medicine, and Law School.
