Venue

The conference will be held in the Photonics Center at Boston University. The address is: 8 St Mary’s St, Boston, MA 02215.

Parking on site is extremely limited, and only available by prior arrangement. Please contact the conference organizers at mrs2023@bu.edu if you need parking.

Public Transportation (MBTA)

Boston’s public transportation, the MBTA, is the recommended mode of transportation for your travel to the conference. The nearest subway stop is BU Central on the Green Line B-Branch. The nearest bus stop is the St. Mary’s St stop on the 57 bus. Google Maps has live transit data, and is recommended for local directions between destinations.

Nearby Airports

The nearest airport is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Free public transportation will connect you from the airport to downtown Boston, either by taking the MBTA Blue Line, or the MBTA Silver Line Bus. More details about getting to and from Downtown Boston from Logan are provided here.

Amtrak

For folks on the Eastern seaboard, including connections from the New York City area, Amtrak offers convenient rail service to Boston. Service into Back Bay, South Station, or North Station will connect you to the MBTA bus and train network.
