Registration

Registration will be required for all accepted contributions to MRS 2023 prior to final upload. Early registration will end October 21, 2023. Registrations after that are counted as on-site registrations.

The payment portal for registration is not yet open, and will open in late September for authors. General registration will open in early October 2023.

Registration Fees

At least one author must register for their paper to be included in the oral presentations and conference proceedings. Please see the following table for a detailed break-out of registration fees. IEEE members and student members receive a discount in registration fees. Student registration status applies to anyone pursuing an undergraduate, masters, or doctoral degree.

Conference registration includes all social events, meals and coffee breaks, banquet ticket, and electronic proceedings. All prices shown are in USD.

Visa Invitation Letters

If you need a visa invitation letter to attend MRS 2023, please reach out to the conference organizers at mrs2023@bu.edu. At this time, we are only able to provide visa invitation letters for authors of submitted contributions. We will process visa invitation letters for general attendees when general registration opens in the fall.

Please note a visa invitation letter does not exempt attendees from complying with all requirements regarding registration and payment for their participation, accommodation and travel. The MRS Organizers take no responsibility should entry be denied by the US Government.

Any cancellations due to Visa refusal will be refunded according to the cancellation policy.
