Serena Haver, MSc

Serena Haver is a Senior Research Assistant at the Center of Excellence in Women’s Health. She provides research support for TRIP: Translating Research into Practice, which implements a coordinated care delivery model to address breast cancer disparities in Boston. Ms. Haver earned her B.A. from Colby College in 2016, majoring in Environmental Studies with a focus on Human Health and the Environment. Her senior honors thesis investigated pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) contamination in a local lake system. After college, Ms. Haver completed her MSc in Epidemiology at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel, Switzerland in 2018. Her thesis investigated compliance with a subset of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices in the context of a community based randomized controlled trial for a home-based environmental intervention in rural, Andean Peru.
