The Women’s Health Group at Boston Medical Center was established in 1985. We believe in the concept of women caring for women, and actively seeking a relationship with you based on respect, trust and understanding. We encourage your active participation in your own health care.

Services

The Women’s Health Network is a Massachusetts Department of Public Health program aimed at helping women receive screenings for breast and cervical cancer. This program supports BMC patients by providing breast and cervical health education, patient navigation, and support for breast and cervical screenings and follow-ups.
Avon2016 1263The AVON Breast Health Initiative is a clinical research group in the Department of General Internal Medicine with a mission to address health disparities among culturally diverse, low-income, female patients.
IMG_6065Our Breast Health Program incorporates a coordinated multi-specialty approach to care, linking internal medicine, surgical oncology, radiology/mammography, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology and other breast health specialists together as one connected team.
