Nene Andem, MD

Dr. Nene Andem is a family physician with a focus on Health Services Research. She is currently a Medical Officer at Immanuel General Hospital in Eket, Nigeria. Her research includes breast cancer screening and prevention, evidence-based decision making, and the marketing and evaluation of a screening program. During her time in the fellowship program she hopes to learn how to plan screening programs to meet the needs of her community and enhance her clinical skills at identifying “at-risk” individuals. Using these newly acquires skills, Dr. Adem hopes to improve treatment and supportive care for the patients she serves, resulting in better outcomes.
