Ladasia Cooke recently joined the Women’s Health Unit as the Community Engagement Research Assistant. She has recently relocated to the city to attain her MPH at Boston University’s School of Public Health. Ladasia graduated with honors from Skidmore College in 2017 with her B.S. in Health and Exercise Science, with a minor in Sociology (a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society). Her undergraduate career has shaped her understanding of the distinctions and interplay between physical, mental and social health. She comes to this position with a strong passion for eliminating health disparities and supporting social justice within the field of Public Health.
