Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and raised in Atlanta, GA, Iman Ali joined the Women’s Health Unit as an administrative assistant in October of 2018. She is obtaining her MPH at Boston University’s School of Public Health, concentrating in Global Health and Health Policy. Iman graduated from The University of Rochester in 2017 with a B.A in Bioethics and was heavily involved with health advocacy. In the fall of 2017, Iman was a community advisor and primary school health educator in a community center located in Moshi, Tanzania. Her experience strengthened her passion in working with vulnerable populations in resource-poor settings and is determined to create sustainable health through equitable policy development.
