Dany Lafortune

Ms. Lafortune a new Patient Navigator at the Women’s Health Network. She joined the unit on 10/29/18. Born and raised in Haiti where she completed High School and started college, Ms. Lafortune moved to Boston in May of 2010 to continue her college education after the earthquake that struck her home country earlier that year. Right after this unfortunate event, she co-founded a foster home in Haiti to help kids that were dislodged and/or have lost their parents by the incident. She attended the University of Massachusetts Boston where she received her B.S in Leadership and Organizational Change, as well as a minor in French. Prior to joining the WHU, Ms. Lafortune worked as a Geriatric Support Service Coordinator at Boston Senior Home Care, a nonprofit agency where she helped low income elders remain active in their community as part of the Senior Care Options (SCO) Program.
