Alexandra Bachorik, MD, EdM is a practicing clinician educator in the Women’s Health Unit at Boston University. She received her MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and completed her residency in primary care internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As a resident, she pursued clinical expertise in reproductive healthcare, and developed and studied new residency curricula in contraceptive care.

Following completion of her clinical training, Dr. Bachorik completed a fellowship in medical education, including a Masters of Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, to hone her teaching and education scholarship skills. Her education interests are focused on women’s and reproductive healthcare, and in particular, improving access to these services through improved education and training in reproductive and women’s health for clinicians in internal medicine. She serves as the Director of Education in the Women’s Health Unit.
