As a part of the Bridging Research Infrastructure…Developing Genuine Engagement (BRI…DGE) Conference, the BE CLEAR: Bringing Education to Communities to Learn and Engage in Research aims to help researchers speak clearly and vividly about their work through improvisational theater techniques so that community members can understand their work.

Often community members are unaware of the potential benefits of research because the researchers struggle to effectively communicate the purpose and implications for the community members. During this interactive training, investigators practice reframing their research to make it community-orientated, conversational and readily-accessible.
