The Women’s Health Network

As of June 30, 2022, due to changes in funding eligibility, BMC will no longer be a site of the statewide Women’s Health Network (WHN) program.

The Women’s Health Network (WHN) is a Massachusetts Department of Public Health program aimed at helping women receive screenings for breast and cervical cancer. For the last 20 years at BMC the Center of Excellence of Women’s Health  has support the WHN  program by providing support to increase awareness of and access to breast and cervical cancer screening. The phenomenal success of the WHN program is a reflection of the dedication and enthusiasm of its staff, and of BMC’s other staff members, clinicians, and community-based partners. Preventative care is a very important part of overall wellness.

The WHN program will continue under a new name, Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (MBCCP), at several sites throughout Massachusetts.

You can find a list of CCP sites https://www.mass.gov/service-details/cancer-care-coordination-program-ccp-sites.

Thank you,
