Spencer Showalter

Spencer grew up surrounded by the San Francisco Bay, Puget Sound, and the Boston Harbor, and in doing so she fell in love with the ocean. She spent her elementary school years rooting around tidepools of the the Northwest, her high school years working with hospitalized seals and sea lions, and her college years adding reef fish to the list of animals that she has inexplicably adored. At BU, she studied Marine Science, with minors in Biology and Environmental Science.
