System Downtime – Cutover Activities

UIS-Mainframe/Links Downtime: 7 pm 5/22/24 – 9 am 5/23/24*

During this time, the UIS Mainframe system, including Student, Faculty, and Faculty/Staff Links will be unavailable. When they come back up on May 23, functionality will be limited as we transition to MyBU Student. The chart below details the functionality that will be available.

MyBU Student Downtime: 6 am 5/23/24 – 9 am 5/29/24

MyBU Student will be unavailable during this time. When it comes back up on May 29, it will be the official system of record for admissions, student records, student financials, and financial aid.

What’s available from May 23 – 29: What’s not available May 23 – 29:
  • View functions on Student Link, Faculty Link, and Faculty/Staff Link (including view grades, schedules, student account inquiries, class roster, etc.)
  • Dining & Vending, Student Employment, and other systems such as Blackboard, Handshake, Accommodate, and MyBU Applicant Portal
  • Payments (except on May 28), transcript ordering, convenience points purchases, and proof of enrollment requests
  • Update functions on Student Link, Faculty Link, and Faculty/Staff Link (including grading, student record updates, financial aid, payment plan enrollment, etc.)
  • MyBU Student Act as User functionality to view fall 2024
  • Registration planning and enrollment activities for summer or fall
  • MyBU Student Portal – will have a maintenance message with links to key transactions and view functions
  • Payments will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 28
