Suzanna Sumkhuu is a Ph.D. student in Earth and Environment at Boston University. Her research interests focus on understanding and analyzing energy transitions, environmental economics, energy justice, and climate finance. Suzanna’s passion for interdisciplinary science developed during her extensive policy experience with the government of Mongolia and various UN agencies, where she formulated integrated national development policies, sustainable development strategies, and climate plans. Suzanna holds an MPA from the O’Neill School of Indiana University, specializing in policy analysis and energy economics, as well as an LL.B. and MA from the National University of Mongolia, and a BA in International Relations and French from Linfield University. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, exploring museums, and traveling.
