Epidemiology & Biostatistics
Shubha Dinesh is an MPH candidate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Boston University School of Public Health, with a clinical background in dentistry. Her research interests lie at the intersection of epidemiology, environmental health, and health equity, particularly how urban environments and social and environmental conditions shape population health.
Her research experience spans evidence synthesis, community-based research, and applied public health, including work on food insecurity and food-as-medicine interventions in Boston. Through URBAN, she is interested in applying epidemiologic and data-driven approaches to real-world urban environmental health challenges and developing solutions in partnership with communities and public-sector organizations.
