Sheida Hooshmandi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth & Environment at Boston University. She holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable Energy from Johns Hopkins University– School of Advanced International Studies(SAIS). Her research interests in BU focus on foreign climate adaptation aid policies. Before transitioning to academia, Sheida worked as a journalist for over a decade. Now, she is fully committed to her academic journey and contributing to the field of environmental policy. She loves travelling around the world and immersing herself in different cultures—a passion that grew from her extensive travels during her journalism career. She also enjoys cycling and visiting art galleries, activities that help free her mind and spark inspiration for her work.
