Luofan Dong graduated with a PhD in Earth and Environment from Boston University and is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Connecticut. He is most interested in monitoring global forest changes using satellite images. He received his B.S. degree from Zhejiang A&F University in 2017 with a major in Human Geography And Urban-Rural Planning and a second major in Computer Science. He received his Master’s degree in Forestry Management from Zhejiang A&F University in 2020, with a focus on the subtropical forest carbon cycle and remote sensing monitoring.
