Dr. Carvalho’s main research interests are in Bayesian inference for structured, often high-dimensional, discrete spaces, and Computational Statistics. Additional interests include Computational Statistics, Computational Biology, Networks and Network Modeling, Remote Sensing, and Transportation Engineering.
