Earth & Environment
Jingyi Sun is a master’s student in the Boston University Earth & Environment program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography and Resource Environment from Beijing Forestry University. Her research interests include urban sustainability, climate adaptation, environmental data analysis, and the application of geospatial approaches to understand urban environmental challenges. She is particularly interested in exploring how interdisciplinary research can support climate-resilient and sustainable cities through the integration of spatial analysis, environmental science, and policy perspectives. Before joining BU, she also studied at the University of Connecticut as an exchange student. Outside of academics, she enjoys music, traveling, horseback riding and scuba diving.
