Jessica Wright is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth & Environment. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Connecticut College in 2016. Jessica’s focus of research is natural gas energy and infrastructure and its effects on both vegetation and human health in cities across the country. Additionally, she is interested in the interface between science and policy and works with non-profit groups in the Boston area in an effort to better inform her research projects to benefit the needs of the community. Jessica has recently been the co-host of Season 5 of the Vitamin PhD podcast at BU where she focuses on science communication, accessibility, and platforms of communication. Jessica enjoys being outdoors and playing with her three dogs.
